  • To properly monitor the wellbore’s progress calculations must be done after every survey and can be extremely time consuming, difficult, and stressful for the Directional Driller due to the Rate of Penetration (ROP) that Oil Companies are demanding. Time is money.

  • To solve this problem the True Vertical Depth (Tvd) Tracking Program was developed. The program simply tracks the Tvd Lateral Leg Geologist Waypoint Targets with pinpoint accuracy in seconds. The program has been Alpha  & Beta Tested with remarkable success. The Tvd Tracking Program in some instances helped increase Average ROP (OROP) from 70m (230 ft.) to 80m (262 ft.) meters an hour to 116m (380 ft.) to 129m (423 ft.) an hour. Saving Oil Companies Time and Expense.

  • Because of the issues arising on location and the shortage of experienced Directional Drillers many directional companies are recruiting experienced semi-retired and retired Directional Drillers to fill the void, but this is slowly coming to an end.

  • The designer of the Tvd Tracker program has both drilling and 35 years directional drilling experience and viewed the development of such a program as a necessity. He earned his stripes old school, hand calculating everything before making a decision, do it quickly, and professionally. He trained directional drillers for over 20 years and sees the old school methodology getting pushed aside creating unnecessary risk and wellbore issues.
